All his wool is 100% Kenyan, organic and from our local region. The knitters from Kenana Knitters,  are lucky to have access to  beautiful local fibers, and are able to support over 200 spinners and the farmers that they buy from. 

Our Cotton is 100%, certified organic and sourced from a socially responsible farm in Tanzania. They have strict social and ethical standards, and produce cotton to the highest environmental standards and are SA 8000: 2008 accredited, Oeko Tex, and OCS Certified.

    About the Knitters:

    The primary purpose of Kenana Knitters is to support women in the local community, by directly providing them with a source of income, thus enabling them to improve the quality of their own lives as well as those of their extended families. Kenana Knitters is dedicated to supporting the local community by empowering over 300 rural Kenyan women to knit a brighter future for themselves and their families. 

    Together we can knit great change!
